  • Should you be contacted for an interview it will either be in-person or via Microsoft Teams.
  • Public Health is committed to an inclusive and barrier-free selection process. If contacted for an interview, and you require accommodation, please notify us and we will work with you to meet your needs.
  • Additional testing may be required dependent on the position being filled (for example, French language testing or computer skills)

Step 3: References

  • Following the interview, employment references will be checked prior to an offer being made. You will be requested to submit an agency release form and provide three (3) employment references.

Step 4: Offer of employment

  • If you are the successful candidate, you will receive an offer of employment. Position specific conditions of employment will be outlined within the offer letter.
  • Public Health Sudbury & Districts will validate professional licensing in accordance with position requirements.
  • Pre-employment conditions:
    • All new employees are required to complete the Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps (Government of Ontario) and provide proof of completion prior to start date.
    • All new employees are required to comply with the agency’s vaccination policy.
    • Other conditions depending on the requirements of the position:
      • Recent Criminal Record Check (Judicial Matters or Vulnerable Sector) may be required.
      • Access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes.
