The Board of Health for Public Health Sudbury & Districts held its first meeting of the year on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at which time officers were elected and new and returning Board members were welcomed. Mark Signoretti and Mike Parent were elected as Chair and Vice-Chair, respectively. Fluoride concentrations in the Espanola water supply are currently below the therapeutic levels recommended due to ongoing technical challenges at the Espanola Water Treatment Plant. There are no immediate or short-term health risks to the public.
