Public Health Sudbury & Districts collects only the personal information and personal health information necessary to determine eligibility for publicly funded vaccines and to process vaccine orders in accordance with Ministry of Health requirements. This information is used for vaccine ordering and related purposes.
We use an approved artificial intelligence tool to help review refrigerator temperature logs submitted during the vaccine ordering process. The tool helps identify possible issues, such as unusual temperature readings, but it does not make decisions. Authorized staff review the results and decide whether follow-up is needed.
Before using the tool, we reviewed privacy, security, and ethical considerations to help ensure information is protected and the tool is used appropriately. No identifying information is used in the tool.
