Good oral health contributes positively to your physical, mental and social well-being by allowing you to speak, eat and socialize without pain, discomfort or embarrassment. We offer dental and oral health services for infants, children, and older adults.
Canadian Dental Care Plan
While we do not administer or provide dental services under the Canadian Dental Care Plan, our team can answer questions and explain how this plan can work with Healthy Smiles Ontario.
Baby’s oral health
The Canadian Dental Association and Public Health Sudbury & Districts recommend that infants have their first oral check up by 1 year of age.
- Parents will learn to care for their child’s teeth.
- The dentist can identify and treat possible problems.
- Early visits will make it more normal for your child to visit the dental office.
Remember to keep the appointment positive and fun!
The best way to teach a child to care for their teeth is to lead by example. Parents play a key role in maintaining their child’s oral health. Young children are not able to clean their own teeth; therefore, parents should try to brush their child’s teeth as soon as they come in using a soft bristle toothbrush and do it with them as they get older.
