To: Local Health Care Providers

With RSV continuing to circulate across Ontario, the Ministry of Health has extended the 2025–26 RSV prevention program for infants and high‑risk children beyond March 31.

Health care providers should continue ordering and administering RSV to eligible infants, high‑risk children, and pregnant individuals who meet program criteria. There are no changes to the adult RSV program. Eligible adults who meet program criteria can continue to receive RSV immunization year round.

Public Health will notify health care providers when the Ministry has confirmed that the 2025–26 RSV prevention program for infants and high-risk children has ended.
