Elle entrera en fonction le 6&nbsp;janvier&nbsp;2025 et occupera son poste \u00e0 titre int\u00e9rimaire jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que la ministre de la Sant\u00e9 ait approuv\u00e9 sa nomination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab&nbsp;Nous sommes tr\u00e8s heureux que la D<sup>re<\/sup>&nbsp;Groot se joigne \u00e0 notre \u00e9quipe en tant que m\u00e9decin-hygi\u00e9niste adjointe \u00e0 temps partiel pour contribuer \u00e0 la direction strat\u00e9gique et \u00e0 la prise de d\u00e9cisions fond\u00e9e sur des donn\u00e9es probantes. Son recrutement renforcera nettement la capacit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9activit\u00e9 de Sant\u00e9 publique&nbsp;\u00bb, a soulign\u00e9 Ren\u00e9 Lapierre, pr\u00e9sident du Conseil de sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab&nbsp;La D<sup>re<\/sup>&nbsp;Groot est une m\u00e9decin de sant\u00e9 publique chevronn\u00e9e, et je suis emball\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e de travailler avec elle afin de maximiser les services de sant\u00e9 publique permettant de prot\u00e9ger et de promouvoir la sant\u00e9 sur notre territoire, a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 le D<sup>r<\/sup>&nbsp;Mustafa Hirji, m\u00e9decin-hygi\u00e9niste int\u00e9rimaire et directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Sant\u00e9 publique Sudbury et districts. Son exp\u00e9rience professionnelle et son travail communautaire seront b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques pour notre organisme et renforceront notre objectif de cr\u00e9er des communaut\u00e9s plus saines pour tout le monde \u00bb, a-t-il ajout\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apr\u00e8s avoir pu recruter une m\u00e9decin-hygi\u00e9niste adjointe d\u2019exp\u00e9rience \u00e0 temps partiel, nous allons t\u00e2cher de trouver quelqu\u2019un d\u2019autre afin d\u2019obtenir l\u2019\u00e9quivalent d\u2019un poste \u00e0 temps plein, selon la recommandation pour les bureaux de sant\u00e9 locaux. Ainsi, l\u2019organisme pourra disposer de la capacit\u00e9 d\u2019action n\u00e9cessaire au plus fort de la demande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La D<sup>re<\/sup>&nbsp;Groot a grandi dans le Nord-Est de l\u2019Ontario et a pour passion d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la sant\u00e9 de la population dans le Nord de l\u2019Ontario. Elle a d\u00e9j\u00e0 agi comme m\u00e9decin-hygi\u00e9niste adjointe au Bureau de sant\u00e9 du district de Thunder Bay et au Bureau de sant\u00e9 de la r\u00e9gion du Niagara. Elle a aussi travaill\u00e9 comme coroner r\u00e9gionale principale pour le Nord-Est de l\u2019Ontario et plus r\u00e9cemment comme directrice m\u00e9dicale du site de consommation supervis\u00e9e du Grand Sudbury. Elle continuera d\u2019occuper \u00e0 temps partiel les postes de directrice du programme de r\u00e9sidence en sant\u00e9 publique et de m\u00e9decine pr\u00e9ventive \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de l\u2019EMNO, et de directrice m\u00e9dicale de la clinique de traitement et de pr\u00e9vention de R\u00e9seau ACCESS Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La D<sup>re<\/sup>&nbsp;Groot a fait ses \u00e9tudes de m\u00e9decine \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 McMaster et a suivi sa formation de sp\u00e9cialisation en sant\u00e9 publique et en m\u00e9decine pr\u00e9ventive \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Queen\u2019s.
